Had a wonderful time Friday spending the day with Lourdes, Brian and baby Jace!

This baby is such a little CUTIE!! When he starts smiling, it’s like the whole room just lights up. It was a tough shoot for mommy and daddy cause little Jace was up all night before the shoot, but Lourdes & Brian brought their “A” game and still looked amazing in their pics. It’s been so wonderful to shoot in the gorgeous fall colors, just absolutely loving this season!

Lourdes & Brian, you guys are such awesome parents. It’s great to see you loving this beautiful little man so much. Hope you enjoy your sneaker peeker and Jace’s adorable little face!!

Been a crazy busy week, but we’re finally getting to blogging more fun stuff outside of holiday shoots.

This past week spent some time with Rachael & Daniel and their new beautiful baby Kate:). Day one with Kate; seemed like we spent a lot of time getting Kate used to the Supermodel life…took her a little extra time to adjust, but by day two with Kate, we were smiling and hanging out and enjoying the shoot!!

Daniel & Rachael, congratulations on welcoming this beautiful bundle of joy! You two are such wonderful parents and Kate seems so happy in your arms:). Wishing you all lots of love and hope you enjoy your sneak peek! xoxo, Trish

Had a super fun time last weekend spending the day with Stormy, her son Cameron, his best friend and my new light gun Sam and their gorgeous German Shepard Ace.

This family was just wonderful! Such great energy and so much love between all of them–it was a total joy to be around and an awesome way to spend the afternoon despite the wind, the clouds and the long drive to get to their location. But when we arrived, it was just amazing. The barn at Soldier Hollow was just beautiful! So super cool and historic, just made for an outstanding backdrop.

Had a good time last Sunday photographing the Swisher family here in Park City, Utah for their family portraits!  These sweet people were friends of some of our friends in Vegas, and it all just happened to work out timing wise to get them in for portraits before the leaves completely disappeared like they are disappearing today after last nights 5 inches of snowfall!  It went from sunny to snowy in a flash and I suspect all the leaves have vanished now.

Their adorable daughter Taylor was just super fun and super smiley!  Absolutely gorgeous actually, and it was really obvious how much these two parents just love her and their doggy.  Steve & Lisa, thank you so much for sharing the afternoon with me and hope you enjoy the sneak peek of your pics!  Cheers! Had a super fun morning on Sunday photographing Calvi and Eric’s newborn baby Colten. This baby is sooooo cute!! He’s just a little peanut with the sweetest face.:)

Eric her hubby was out of town so it was just Calvi and I and her mom, which was great cause it gave us a chance to catch up since I haven’t seen her really since their wedding….but…It’s so funny because when I arrived he, the baby, was completely out, so Calvi and I were ready to go to town with this baby and really move him around for our pics…..BUT….the moment we picked him up–he was UP!! And after that, we just kept trying to get him to sleep….our fun ideas of doing all kinds of silly stuff was short lived, but we still got some great images.

Calvi, you are a complete natural…it’s like you were meant to be a mom. Seeing you with this baby and how much you adore him was just wonderful. Can’t wait for you and Eric to be home together so you can really start having some serious baby fun!! Congrats to both of you on the birth of this gorgeous baby!! xoxo, Trish

Had a super fun time today shooting Sam’s Senior Portrait Session here in Park City, Utah!

Sam is just gorgeous; she’s funny, confident, athletic….everything every girl would want to be.  When I first met her, I just loved the fact that she was so well spoken and just knows what she wants.    She’s that beautiful girl next door.

When her mom asked if I would photograph her with her horse, I had no idea what an adventure it would be.  She and her mom learned very quickly that animals just love me.  It’s a gift I’ve always had… No matter where animals are around me, they will somehow find themselves in my orbit and it always cracks me and my clients up.  And today was no different.  No matter where I went, the other horses were glued to my every move…as well as their adorable dog Sage.  So not only did I make some new people friends today, but today I also made some new animal friends:). It was hilarious!

Despite the high winds and clouds and possibility of rain, Sam rocked it…

Sunday was an absolute BLAST as I spent the afternoon with two incredible people–Carly & Joshua in the stunning fall colors of Park City, Utah!  She is a stunning baby mama!

This beautiful couple is getting ready to welcome their first baby and boy was she kicking!! It was a gorgeous day for Park City Maternity Portraits, and let me tell you, we were giggling, hootin’ and just plan having some serious fun.  This couple is so sweet and funny…they were just wonderful to photograph and hang out with.   It’s funny because Carly basically just couldn’t keep a straight face…the giggling was pretty much non-stop…we’d get her to hold it together for a few minutes, and then the nonsense just took over for all of us.

What’s really wonderful about maternity photo sessions is that it’s such an amazing and exciting time in a couple’s lives.  There’s so much anticipation, excitement and possibly a hint of fear, that I just do my very best to keep people focused on all the new love that is coming into their lives and the best parts of themselves and their love for each other.  It’s a really exciting time and I’m just so grateful to be a small part of it.:)

Again the giggling was just awesome!

Had a wonderful wonderful shoot this past weekend with Todd & Patricia and their new son Damien!  The fall colors are out in full force here in Park City and it is just a spectacular time for Park City Family Portraits & Park City Holiday Portraits!  The weather held all weekend while we were shooting with blue skies and gorgeous light.  It was just perfect!

We also had a little more fun photographing this beautiful family in their hotel room at the Waldorf Astoria, Park City, Utah.  Their hotel room made the perfect studio with brilliant natural light, lots of bright colors and the perfect white bed spread for little Damien to get comfy.  I absolutely love the photos of his beautiful happy little face.  He was so smiley that it was a complete breeze to photograph him!

Todd & Patricia, thank you for coming out to Park City for your family portraits and I can’t wait to document your family again!!

Had a wonderful shoot with Mina & Andrew and their two new twin babies last week.  It was so awesome to finally meet them after seeing Mina & Andrew share this pregnancy!  Their baby room was amazing and it was so cute that one baby looked just like Mina and the other baby looked just like Andrew.  It’s also incredible that one baby was soooo much bigger than the other baby that the other baby just looked tiny!! But both are happy and healthy and getting tons of love from mommy & daddy and all the incredible amounts of company they’ve been having.  But when you have twins, sounds like you need all the company and help you can get:).  Mina & Andrew, love you both so much.  So excited for this next chapter in your lives!! much love, Trish

This morning I spent a little time with Jessica, Nick and their adorable baby girl Avery!  What a wonderful baby!! She was so happy, so smiley and just such a sweet baby that it was a total joy to spend time with this beautiful family.

At first Avery was a little coy and shy, but eventually the smiling and giggling just took over and you could really see this baby sending love to mommy & daddy.  And as with most babies, eventually she just was having way too much fun and basically just tired herself out after having a snack and just fell asleep.  But even in her sleep, she was giggling and smiling…it was so adorable, we were all giggling!

This is such a wonderful time of year for portraits here in Park City, the leaves are just beginning to change, so while it was still nice and warm outside, actually the perfect temperature for a baby, we headed outdoors to find some aspens.  As luck would have it, they happened to have some right in their front yard.:)
